Tonya Briggs has served with Missionary Leadership Academy since 2023, bringing a strong background in instruction, leadership, and school operations. She began her work with the Academy as a K–5 classroom teacher, where she demonstrated a deep commitment to student learning, instructional excellence, and building positive classroom culture.

Following her success in the classroom, Ms. Briggs advanced into leadership roles, serving as School Leader and later as Academy Coordinator. In these positions, she supported school-wide initiatives, strengthened instructional practices, and helped coordinate programs aligned with the Academy’s mission and vision.

Now serving as Vice President, Ms. Briggs works closely with executive leadership to support strategic planning, school improvement, and organizational effectiveness. She is known for her collaborative leadership style, attention to detail, and dedication to supporting educators, students, and families.

Ms. Briggs is married to her husband, Michael, and is a proud mother to their son, Michael Jr. Her role as a wife and mother further fuels her passion for creating supportive, high-quality learning environments where students and families can thrive.
